The project Joseph is a prison medical relief intervention program.
The Problem
There have been many cases of deaths due to inadequate and non budgetary provisions to cater to the medical needs of prison.
We believe that life doesn’t and shouldn’t end in the prison. Some of the greatest men who walked the face of the earth, found themselves in prison at some point in their lives.
If they had died in the prison, the world would have missed out on their amazing contributions and legacies. This is why we are advocating for improve health care in prison clinics.
The Goal
With this campaign, we are looking to equip and improve the capacity of prison clinics; to meet the basic health challenges of the inmates.
Through this medium, inmates referred to public health institutions will receive instant medications, especially for illnesses requiring financial support of less than N20,000.
This campaign is championed together with the Kirikiri Medium Prison
