Health Emergency Initiative (HEI), an NGO,has paid hospital bills of over 140 accident victims at various general hospitals in Lagos State in 2017.
Mr Paschal Achunine, the Executive Director of HEI, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos that the organisation was established to assist road accident victims by offsetting their hospital bills. He added the initiative was set up to support and revive critically injured accident victims across the country.
According to him, HEI had recently launched ‘None Should Die,’ programme to enable critically injured road accident victims receive early phase emergency care to stabilise them before the arrival of their families.
