At Health Emergency Initiative (HEI), we firmly believe that collaboration is the key to building a resilient emergency response system. Our commitment to saving lives through rapid intervention, emergency preparedness, and prehospital care continues to drive impactful partnerships.

One of our most significant ongoing collaborations is with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) of Nigeria and LFR International, USA. This strategic alliance is dedicated to enhancing emergency response capabilities and equipping individuals in underserved communities with lifesaving skills.

Bridging the Gap in Emergency Response

Emergency response in Nigeria faces critical challenges, including:
✅ Limited access to first responders in many regions.
✅ Lack of prehospital care knowledge among the public.
✅ Delays in medical intervention, leading to preventable fatalities.

Recognising these gaps, HEI, alongside FRSC and LFR International USA, is implementing programmes that empower everyday citizens with essential first aid and prehospital care skills.

Empowering Underserved Communities

A major focus of this collaboration is ensuring that emergency preparedness is not limited to urban areas. By reaching rural and underserved communities, we are creating a grassroots movement where people are equipped to respond effectively before professional medical help arrives.

Key Initiatives Under This Collaboration

???? First Aid & CPR Training: We train road users, teachers, students, and community leaders in basic emergency response.
???? Prehospital Care Education: Participants learn critical intervention techniques to stabilise victims before paramedics arrive.
???? Capacity Building for FRSC Officials: By strengthening the skills of Nigeria’s primary road safety agency, we improve accident response times and effectiveness.
???? Community-Based Response Networks: Training local volunteers to act as first responders in their areas, bridging the gap between emergencies and professional medical care.

Leveraging International Expertise

With LFR International bringing global best practices in emergency care and FRSC providing an extensive network of road safety personnel, this collaboration is poised to create a robust emergency response culture in Nigeria.

By working together, we are not just saving lives today but also building a sustainable system for future generations.

A Call to Action

We invite more stakeholders—corporate organisations, government agencies, and individuals—to join us in this mission. Emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility, and together, we can ensure that “None Should Die” due to a lack of immediate response.
