In a groundbreaking milestone for healthcare in Nigeria, Cloud Energy, in collaboration with Health Emergency Initiative (HEI), has installed a state-of-the-art 5KVA solar power system worth ₦16 million at the Neonatal Ward of Massey Street Children’s Hospital, Lagos State.

This innovative solar solution is designed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, dramatically improving the survival chances of preterm and vulnerable infants. The system includes two advanced lithium batteries with a 10-year lifespan and durable solar panels guaranteed to last 25 years, making it a sustainable and cost-effective investment in healthcare infrastructure.

The Role of Awakening Womanhood Global Foundation (AWGF)

This life-saving intervention was initiated when Awakening Womanhood Global Foundation (AWGF), an NGO, partnered with HEI to support indigent patients at the hospital. A member of AWGF, who also serves as an Executive Director at Cloud Energy, identified the critical need for a reliable power supply, setting the stage for this transformative project.
