The TotalEnergies E&P-sponsored First Responders training in Kwara State is now in its second day, with sessions taking place at Queen Elizabeth Secondary School, Ilorin. This vital programme covers six local government areas (LGAs) and is aimed at equipping communities with essential lifesaving emergency response skills.

Today’s session is exclusively for teachers under the Train the Trainer (TOTs) model. Each trained teacher is expected to train 200 additional teachers and students within the next 90 days, ensuring a widespread impact across schools and communities.

This initiative is being carried out with the generous support and approval of the Kwara State Ministry of Education, further strengthening emergency preparedness in the region.

Together, we are building a safer, more responsive society where no life is lost due to a lack of immediate intervention.
