We are excited to announce the official commencement of the Emergency Response Training under the Health Emergency Initiative (HEI) partnership with the US Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria. This transformative programme is proudly sponsored by the US Consulate General in Nigeria.
Empowering Educators with Lifesaving Skills
Today, we are training secondary school teachers from various districts in Lagos on CPR, First Aid, and other prehospital care skills. The training is taking place at American Corner, Ikeja, Lagos.
Train-the-Trainer (TOT) Model for Maximum Impact
The programme is structured under the Train-the-Trainer (TOT) model, ensuring that all trained participants will proceed to train hundreds of students and teachers in their respective schools and educational districts over the next 90 days.
Transforming Emergency Preparedness in Nigeria
This initiative by the US Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria is designed to revolutionise emergency preparedness, particularly within the educational sector and youth groups, creating a nationwide network of skilled first responders.
We are grateful for this impactful collaboration and remain committed to ensuring that “None Should Die” due to a lack of emergency response knowledge.
