Health Emergency Initiative was present at the press conference at FRSC Office Ojodu.
Day 1 of the Safety awareness program – Road have stories. In attendance is the Sector Commander of FRSC – Mr Hygenus Omeje and other well respected officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps, a Representative from LASAMBUS, Representatives from HEI and Mr Adenusi Patrick – He is the president of a reputable NGO, located at Lekki.
At this conference, the Sector Commander FRSC, Mr Hygenus Omeje discussed extensively on how modern technology has really helped in simplifying there work on the highway.
He also mention that in human factor drivers are to be cautioned at instances when they over speed on the high way. He said it is mandatory that every vehicle must have a speed limit installed in it.
He mentioned how FRSC make use of breathalyzers to detected the percentage of alcohol some drivers take before embarking on a journey. #DontDrinkandDrive
